I'm making the jump to a sandy bridge processor from my old Q9450 (LGA775, so I'm stuck on an old board that can't handle DDR3 ram), and I'm looking around at motherboards. I'm trying to avoid MicroATX as my cable organization skills are already pretty shit, so I'm looking at a standard ATX configuration. But all of the prices on the more popular brands are a big up there - >200USD. Considering I'm paying 200~ for the CPU and most likely another 200~ for the GPU upgrade in a few months, I'd like to spend under 200 for the Motherboard, and I came across this:

However, I've never used biostar (current motherboard is an nvidia 780i) and I've never heard too much about them, although I've known of their existence alongside gigabyte, msi, and asus as mobo manufacturers. Does anyone have any sort of opinions on these motherboards?
I'm not looking for the extremely versatile motherboards - I don't overclock, and don't need the ridiculous stuff; I just want a board that's stable and won't die out on me.

and, if not, does anyone know of a stable standard atx board in this price range?
socket 1155
I've had good experiences in the past with their boards, it's been a few years since I've bought one though. I'm using an MSI currently. (AMD, not that it matters)
No
for P67 look at MSI, Asus and at higher budgets Gigabyte

For me Biostar is a big fucking HELL NAW.
I've had 3 boards by them, 2 died within a year of purchase, one is still going but has issues.
ASUS, MSi, Gigabyte, ASRock (sometimes, check reviews) are better options. Elitegroup is worse than Biostar.

how's msi's warranty policies? good tech support?
msi has 3 year warranty, dunno about their support though

how's this board in comparison? noting that it's got an extra 20 bucks off i'll probably nab it
good find, really
that's a great deal
you can also combo it with a 2500K for $340
Thanks for the help, all! I've decided to go with that mobo along with the 2500 Sandy Bridge (not the one in the combo deal - I'd go for the combo deal, but tbh the overclocking isn't too important to me so I can live without the k variant, and save 35 bucks)
uh you might as well not get a p67 then
yeah if that's the case just go h67
but overclocking the 2500K is so easy to do it's definitely worth the extra money imo
that combo is over but you can instead go for this
I highly recommend it

primarily because I wanted to avoid the micro atx format because I like being spacious as my cable skills are lacking (and the h67s I saw were microatx format, unless I was looking in the completely wrong place), and it was effectively the same price as the h67's, so why not
i may at one point in the future decide to start overclocking, and in that case, I'll ebay the psu off and try it out.

and I've already purchased it (last night), sorry guys :P
budget is imperative for me, so saving 30 bucks is a big deal. Thanks for your help!
I have a biostar t5xe cfx-sli and it's working fine. I don't know about their low-end boards though.
