So yeah, my mom decided it would be a good idea to download Windows Anti-Virus Pro and Tweak-XP on her computer. So now she started up her computer and it says Rundll32 not found, and then the real anti-virus she had on there went crazy, so we manually went into the computer and deleted the files it said were causing a problem, that fixed Rundll32 not found problem, but whenever we tried to run a program it came up with 'Windows does not recognize this filetype, please select the program to run it from a list or from the web" the only way to run it is to go into the system and find the .exe of the program we're trying to run and select that to run it. As you can tell this would be quite a pain with programs far into the system, is there a way to fix this without reformatting? (My mom lost the XP disks and I don't have mine)

On most programs I couldn't.
