I need some help! My issue generally occurs when I play demanding games, like Crysis, or Battlefield 3. After playing for an hour on Ultra settings, and getting good FPS, it starts to drop. And after a certain point, it can get as low as to 1 FPS sometimes. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? I am thinking it is overheating, but I would like your opinion. My specs are below.
CPU: AMD 1055T X6 3.8 GHz
GPU: Crossfired AMD Radeon HD 6850s
RAM: 8 Gigs DDR3 1333 MHz
Download HWmonitor, and make a screenshot of the temps while playing, should give enough information if it is overheating or not.
Sounds like a prolonged overheating issue that's throttling parts of the system or a resource leak.
Alright Marti, I will download that and get back to you. Also, I don't think it is a resource leak, as 15% of system memory is still unused when playing.
