i bought a new laptop and i want help running OSX on it what requirements do i need?
The specs for the laptop would be a good place to start.

That's gonna be a problem, right there. OS X does not like AMD.
If you were gunning for a hackintosh from the beginning then why didn't you do any research on the subject before buying?
Good luck getting Snow Leopard to work on AMD but you should be able to get Leopard working easily enough

Ignore the socket part and the multiplier.
Why the fuck would you want Mac to waste that nice processor on.

btw mac is good for what it is built to do.
AMD CPUs gets overheated after a few hours, unless there is a CPU cooler installed on the motherboard.
Well installing OSX on your new laptop will require two DVDs due to it's weight of 7.4GB or something like that. But if you really want to use the OSX corretly down to the smallest detail you really need to buy a real Mac.

It requires a dual layer DVD, that's all. Also, I bloody well hope [I]everybody [/I]has a CPU cooler installed.
