• 5.1 Sound System's audio becomes muffled after a while

Hello, I have a sound system of a lesser known brand (Lazar, model A-106CE). It's so unknown you can't find bloody pictures of it on Google Images. I took a picture of it, though, check it out here: https://www.dropbox.com/sc/bq7ufsdz5ifgpxo/AAB_iLavCak1X0cf6c9_J8qga Anyway, the deal is as it's presented in the title. After about half an hour to an hour of usage, the sound becomes muffled - high and mid frequencies lose amplification by a large factor and the only unaffected frequencies are the low frequencies. Turning it off and then immediately on doesn't work; however, turning it off, waiting for a quarter of an hour and then turning it on again causes it to work again for half an hour. Another thing which seems to "revive" the audio is to increase the volume, which brings back the high frequencies. You can only do this so much, though, because the audio becomes heavily distorted. I opened the sound system's central sub and noticed the transformer was quite warm to the touch. I also noticed a peculiar thing - the sticker on it said it outputs 11V, but when I measured it I got a steady 12V. A few IC's also had small heatsinks applied to them, but they weren't as warm as the transformer. What can I do to fix this thing? I considered buying a 12V-4A transformer to replace the 11V-2A transformer, which could also fix some distortion at higher volume levels. However, I want to know if there are cheaper solutions and if you guys have had similar stuff going on. Thank you in advance
I doubt it's anything to do with the transformer. More likely to be bad capacitors in the amp circuit. Looks for bulging caps or residue.
No capacitors seem to be bulged, though.
