Most people don't have all of their views set in stone. They change. Just share a changed opinion. Could be videogames, politics, whatever. Its always interesting to hear how it happens.
I once hated anime with a passion, I still don't know why I did. It got to a point I almost lost a good friend because of it and I was incredibly ignorant. Then I watched it and here I am. I'm a fucking idiot.
I used to hate child rape until I tried it same goes for guacamole
I used to hate the internet. Now I hate it more.
At first I though the standart android 2.3 web browser was OK until I wanted to open more than 6 tabs and some of them just opened my default website instead.
Used to think porn and fapping was the greatest thing ever Now its just meh

I truly am a stupid piece of shit and I am reminded of this fact every time I talk about Evangelion.
i hated subway because i thought it was too expensive and then i went there

I've become like a fungal infection in my group of friends, I mentioned off hand that I decided to watch some anime and now literally all of my friends have started watching. Every friday they come around and we watch a 10~ episode series or a couple movies. Apparently the anime hating phenomenon is common, since it happened to one of my friends too. I think it's part of the whole weaboo tard problem giving anime itself a bad name, when in reality it's just a lot of the people who like anime who are dumbasses.
I was stupidly naive and believed some of the things I saw on internet sites such as Encyclopedia Dramatica. I never actually knew anyone who liked it until recently so I only saw the most vocal things about it, the bad. Combine that with ignorance, stupidity and refusal to see reason and you have a pretty good estimation of my previous self. I've turned this into a thread filled with me doing nothing but creating a sob story. I apologise and I will no longer post here.
I used to hate bronies unconditionally with the mentality of "you are a moron until proven otherwise", but now I can endure not judging them without any reason to. I still hate the ones that shit on everything they find with ponies and can't post anywhere without bringing it up because they make the rest of the bronies look bad. However, I do still think the extent that the fandom of that show has gone too is ridiculous and personally I strongly dislike it.
I used to think MLP was good. Kill me.
Used to think of tablets as rather pointless, but now it's proven to be rather useful to me for e.g. inputting test results straight into an excel table. Wouldn't use one as a replacement for a desktop by any means, but does fulfill the same uses I put my now-dead laptop to with far less weight. Typing on a touchscreen still annoys me, though.
i used to think rayman was a stupid character and rayman games were completely uninteresting 'till i played the rayman legends demo on wii u a while back. i was pretty surprised at the quality and the amazing animations/music/level design, so much so that i picked up rayman origins for 3DS and rayman legends on PC more recently now that thats finally out. it's one of my favourite games ever now and one of the best platformers i've ever played
Used to think smartphones were pointless during the start of this year, thought they were only good for terrible mobile games and browsing the internet. Got one and I use it even when I'm on the computer.
I used to hate bronies more than anything in the world until a year ago when I became one. I realized how much it hurts to be hated like that so I learned to accept all fandoms even if some of them seem a bit odd.
extreme vocals in music
i used to hate rap and hiphop until i stopped being an edgy teenager and appreciated it more
I used to think being transgender was a terrible thing and that if you were there was something seriously wrong with you. Now after finding out one of my closest friends was trans, it has changed my whole opinion on them to being very accepting of them. Manual cars, I used to hate them while learning in one, now I love them and would never have an automatic as a daily driver. Bronies, used to dislike them for no other reason than it was ~cool~, now that quite a few of my friends are bronies, a lot of my family as well, I couldn't really care. While I have no interest in anything, music that they produce (provided it's not a remix) can actually be quite good. Gays, I used to take the piss out of them, dislike them due to the fact it just seemed icky (Not the fault of my parents), now a majority of my friends are gay/bi, a couple of family members again and the fact I've given sex a go with a guy (It felt horrible to me though). [editline]30th September 2013[/editline] It's amazing how friends or family being something you used to dislike changes your opinion that quickly.
I used to think MLP was good. Kill me.
I cringe whenever I look back on what I did on Facepunch years ago when Bronies first became a thing. I'm still a Brony, but now I'm more into other things. Like Homestuck.
I used to believe that if someone can't survive by themselves they deserve to die. A really naive and black/white view of things in hindsight. I realized later on that really, that kind of thinking isn't why the species I'm a part of has survived this far. It's been the opposite. Selflessness has been our unique trait as a species. There are other beings on this planet that we're fairly sure to be about as intelligent as us. There are other beings that can use tools and other beings that get kids the way we do. There are other beings that consume a lot of energy, other beings that build homes, other beings that...you get the point. There is no other being on this planet that would die for someone else KNOWING that they'll never come back. That's the difference between a dog protecting their owner to the death and an owner protecting their dog to the death. The dog doesn't understand they're going to die. The owner can understand this and still choose to put his life on the line instead. That kind of self-sacrifice is, in my opinion, our greatest and most unique trait. While really depressing of a thing, it's also something that really changed how I go about treating other people overall. Altruism is an extreme, just like the whole "survival of the fittest" thing, but being selfless is being human in its very core. This isn't something I used to think about 2 years ago.
I used to hate anime, then I start watching Desert Punk, now I like Anime
i used to hate meth
I used to love shitty youtube videos such as Annoying orange or charlie bite my finger.
there was a time when I cared about a lot of shit now... welp..
I used to like rain, But now Rain = Humidity = chafing = pain and discomfort = Me wishing I wasn't so fat = Me being sad = Me sleeping for 16 hours a day = me missing a week of school = Me being Scum of the Earth, In conclusion, Rain Bad, Chafing Worse, I'm Scum of the Earth
i used to hate rap and hiphop until i stopped being an edgy teenager and appreciated it more
I was militant about that in middle school. Makes me want to go back in time and slap myself.

I used to not think much of gays until two years ago when I found out my brother was gay, and now I have many gay/bi friends. Later I found out I'm bi myself. It's a shame that it often takes friends and family to change your view on things.
