Before I begin, I wasn't sure if this was 'Fast Threads' or 'Hardware and Software', but 'Hardware and Software' seems more appropriate.
My question to you is: how much bandwidth do you use in a day. Recently I downloaded 'BitMeter' to track how much bandwidth I used, and I generally use 2-6gb a day.
So, if you guys use BitMeter (or your preferred application) to measure how much bandwidth you use through the course of the computer using day, how much do you use.
Also if you want to find out the entire day stats on BitMeter, right click it and select 'Statistics Grid'.
Two days ago: I used 9.2gb
Yesterday: I used 1gb
How much do you guys use?
Sorry, I just wanted to see if my results were average, or if they were massive or small.

i've been awake about 30 mins... about 15 GB of our bandwith has been used already.

averages out to whatever. really don't feel like doing the math.
Used about 15GB today and about 27GB Yesterday and 24GB The day before.
well i'm not tired or anything. haha. i somehow missed 'daily'

I've never really had to worry about bandwidth, but i hope it's not as high as you guys.
I have a 150Gb limit that I've never hit but at 25Gb a day ^ i'd be worried about what you are doing.
I swap between my netbook and desktop regularly so it's kinda hard to measure.
Yesterday, probably only 700 MB since all I did was talk to some people, look at a few pages on FP, slept and went out for dinner.
Oodles
I average about 1-2 GB a day. Some days have more though if I'm downloading lots of stuff or someone used a lot of Netflix in the house.
Do you guys get charged when you go over your download limit?
I went over by 30GB and they charged us £12
I don't monitor it. I don't have a cap so I don't need to.
But when I get my new router, I'll install OpenWRT, that probably has some statistics.
Today was 50.2 GB for me. Lots of gaming online can eat through bandwidth
50GB over 24 hours is 0.592592592 MB/s constantly for 24 hours (assuming I did maths right), what are you downloading that you need to use 50 GB a day?
I don't monitor mine either(5 computers and a smartphone), but usually it's not over ~5gb a day, I'm guessing, because Comcast has the hard cap of 250gb/mo.
I can imagine a freshly installed World of Warcraft client streaming the entire game to you would cause quite a lot of bandwidth usage.
The game's a bit over 20gb nowadays.
But other than that, I can't think of anything.
Maybe a fresh Guild Wars client? As far as I know, it does the same type of thing as WoW.

For that matter, installing all your Steam library might do it.
On a good day, 10gb. on a normal day 25>50gb. Glad i have no cap.
My girlfriend and I average about 6GB/day.

I average 0.5MB/s, but that's because the peak moments hit x10 that over longer peroids.
I used maybe 1 GB today.
(192kbps for now until we switch to U-Verse and can afford to actually pay for real people internet.)
I would say that probably say 50gb minimum per day.

Today hardly any. There was a day last week when I downloaded 43.5GB of Vista builds. And the day after 17.5GB of Whistler builds.
this much

and occasionally this much

~5gb a day if it's not a "just reinstalled windows" or "new game" day.

250 GB with $10 for every 50 GB afterwards IF you are considered a heavy user. It's not that bad as people are making it out to be.
Here's mine:

No cap.

oh no, there goes my habit of downloading a 1tb archive every single month.
what will I DO
Why are you guys even monitoring bandwidth usage?
I can understand if your modem or router does it automatically, but other than that..
