EDIT: I'm on MY tablet right now, and I don't know how to change the title. It SHOULD read "Asus Transformer (TF101) not updating to ICS", so if a mod could change it, that'd be nice. My mother and I both have a Transformer. Mine updated to ICS the day it came out. I'm home for spring break, and I noticed that my mother's Transformer hasn't updated yet. I go to update it, and I get the DMClient force close error, and she tells me that it's been happening for a while. This error also occurred whenever I tried checking for a firmware update. I easily found a solution to that problem (finding it in running applications, force closing it and clearing the data), and while her tablet no longer has the DMClient force close problem, it still doesn't see the ICS update. I've tried clearing the DMClient thing multiple times, hard boots/resets, I've updated all the apps in the market, but her tablet STILL won't acknowledge the firmware update. I'll go to about >system update, and it says there isn't one. I thought that maybe the tablet wasn't charged enough, so I'm charging it now and I'll try again, but I don't have high hopes for it. Anyone know what I can do?
If she's willing to factory reset and loose her data that could be an option. If that didn't work I'd call up Asus.
My eee Pad Transformer is also not seeing any updates for ICS. I'm really annoyed with it right now.
