Please take it only once, as some quotes will begin to repeat, so your results may be skewed based on that

I need your help to see how good it is. Please go to

and follow the instructions. Try to decide which quotes are from a real life philosopher, and which quotes are from a machine. Then, please post your results here

loading. It makes many queries to the database so it's slow. I'm not very well versed in MySQL so I'd love to learn to write the script in a way that it all executes once on MySQL, but I don't know how yet.

Also got 60% right. It'd be better if it didn't start in the middle of sentences and cut off before the end so I could actually see a complete thought though. Otherwise it is hard to tell.

I do that because the generator doesn't begin or end with complete sentences, so I select the human quotes from mid sentence as well.

I was kind of half assing it, but you have to think of what the quote is trying to say as a whole to tell the difference. If you can't, it's probably a machine I guess. But if you just merely glance at the quote, it's nearly impossible to tell which one is which. I also think the flow might be off on some of the machine generated ones.

Anyways good luck on the presentation.

The problem is high level philosophy tends to be hard to decipher and can often be mistaken (or indeed actually is) meaningless drivel.

Well, as of my writing this, 189 people participated, and the calculated average:
