It's pre alpha alright. Still, I have a bad felling about the gameplay, knowing the studio's previous titles (As much as I liked the first risen and the gothic series).
Looks like they're using the same old clunky combat system, eugh, not a fan
Risen was fun so long as you didn't care.
Hopefully the game doesn't take itself too seriously, then I think it'll be alright. I've always had a soft spot for gothic / risen and I still play one game from that series at least once every summer, their weird humor is part of what brings me back. (working on Gothic 3 right now...) Will this be the first pirhana bytes game in which beer fails to act as a currency?? I truly hope not. As long as they don't loose track of their strengths as a studio then I think I'll end up giving this game a shot at some point. Hell, I know I probably will once it's cheap enough. It really doesn't look that good... damn

The first 2 Gothic games i actually enjoyed the combat, it was clunky as hell but it had a weight to it i liked.

Clunky European RPGs like Risen and Two Worlds and the like have always been some of my favorite games for whatever reason, so I for one welcome all the jank this game appears to have. :v:
