I'm looking for a decent netbook i'll be taking to uni, I'd preferably like it to be capable of playing some sort of games. I've got £1000 but I would ideally not want to spend all of it on a new netbook.
Any recommendations?
Netbooks do not do most games well, but they'll run things like worms and shit. I got an advent 4211 which is an msi wind u100 rebrand from PC world for £270. All netbooks have the same general specs, so look for what makes them different and see what things you want.
well if that's your budget I wouldn't get an netbook.
but if you must have one, I'd get the n10j
Get an Ion netbook.

This.
I don't know which one it is but I've seen one with, An amd athlon processer and a ATI X1300 gpu
Lenovo s12 (with Nvidia ION when it comes out)
i was thinking of getting this, looks good enough for my needs and has a ati card in it which i believe should be able to run most source games on med-low
