• What components do you recommend?

I've had it with my antique computer unable to run these new games that are coming out nowdays. My current specs are (feel free to laugh): Graphics Card = NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS, 256 MB CPU, Processor = AMD Athlon (tm) 64 X2 4200+ RAM = 2GB It's the graphics card and CPU I'm concerned of. I'd like to buy some new stuff but nothing too expensive but something that'll hold for some time. I live in sweden so you can figure out the currency yourself. So........ any advice?
Looking at some things, the X2 4200+ runs on a Socket 939 on the motherboard. This is an old type of socket and not even Newegg has any processors for that type. However, 2.2Ghz will be fine until you buy a new PC, hopefully soon. Is the 7600GS the PCI version or the AGP version?
He may not know the difference between AGP and PCIe. Op, download this program: http://www.filehippo.com/download_speccy/ and take a screen shot.
Why would you snip the conversion rate from the OP? You can't expect us to do EVERYTHING for you.
The 7600 GS is AGP
Fair enough. I recommend you get an entire new build.

I'd recommend you to save up some money and build a completely new PC.
