Hey guys, I am wanting to upgrade this old desktop I have sitting around...I made a thread or two in the past but never worked up the funds to buy the parts ( I would use those parts suggested in the old threads but the combo deals ran out and the links broke), Pics of the system information from that CPUID program RAM, Slot #1 and #2 Now, The motherboard has a Integrated ATI Radeon Express 200 series, But there is a slot to plug in a graphics card in, Would that just run over top the integrated chipset? Heres a picture of the case I already have vista on this, So I'll need 2GB OR 4GB of available RAM, A new CPU and graphics card, I want to be able to run L4D2, Fallout 3 and most source games...Hopefully $300 is enough.. Thanks for your time. ( Sorry for all the pictures)
You can't just buy a new CPU and graphics card for that motherboard. I'm afraid that you're going to need a new one. I think you should go with a motherboard that has an integrated ati chipset so you can save tons of money.
Can you recommend a new mobo and some RAM?

I'd say that's pretty good for you right now. ^

The onboard card on that is not the best, but it really is not too bad. It should last you till you get money for a good graphics card.
