Ok well here we go, two things go into this. When you stand up your applying a pressure difference inside your body and when you hyperventilate like that for an extended amount of time your brain gets used the a constant flow of oxygen that big being provided to it. So when you stand up and blow on your thumb your creating a difference in pressure and a instant stop of the flow of oxygen. While this happens the brain freezes up for a quick moment and causes you to pass out. The only dangers here are when you pass out when you fall the damage to your head can be things such as concussions and internal bleeding if you were to be say really tall and fall on concrete.
Hopefully, this won't catch on. I really don't want to see kids all over my school doing this.

Well hopefully if it does catch on( really doubt it would) than they should catch each other. I wanted to see if anyone else did it on youtube and this like 7th grader in Britain did it and he fell back onto concrete.
