Recently downloaded a PDF, scanned it on virustotal and it came back perfectly clean. However this was yesterday, no problems occurring since now. The only thing that happened was a random refresh of all my tabs in my browser (Google Chrome) which I thought was suspicious since it has never happened before.
I'm not sure if anything is wrong with my PC, but just to be safe what are some of the best free virus scan/removal programs out there?
Avast! does a great job at finding viruses
When I used Chrome, I remember it refreshing like that on me. It was really annoying, but not virus related (system was clean). I forgot what was triggering it, though.
Get malware-bytes and run a full scan in safemode. I guarantee it'll find SOMETHING. It always does.
