Does it by any chance come with retarded protection software? If so, there is your problem.
No it does not it stopped working like a day ago.
Does it say that it is an unrecognized drive when you put any disk in the drive or just for that game?
Look for it in the Recycle Bin?
Nothing happens when i pu in a game.I go into MY COMPUTER to see it is not there.I go into run i type in D: then it says that it is an unrecognized drive. EDIT:and it is not in the recycle bin.
In a new batch file, write:
@ECHO off if exist d:\ echo It's all good if not exist d:\ echo you're fucked pause > nul
Save it as test.bat, then double-click to run. Edit: I would give you the batch file, but i can't be arsed to find somewhere to upload it. If you really want I will though.
Think your hard drive just died / completely corrupted.
Try system restore to a date before you installed the game. Edit:
Think your hard drive just died.
If it died, I doubt his computer would even boot.
Get a new pc,end of disscussion
Kind of not an option.
That image of your command prompt just made my day. I am sorry, but I cannot help you beyond telling you how fucked you are, if it isn't in the recycle bin then all I can say is try to reinstall it from servicepack disk or something. Sorry.
Kind of not an option.
www.novatech.com Get one now,or your computer is dead,FOREVER.
I am loving the support from Fronze. [/sheer sarcasm]
If i reinstalled windows would that do anything?
I am not sure, never come across this issue. I would advise backing up all of your files just incase it does chuck you in shit lake.
If i reinstalled windows would that do anything?
Take out all of your pc components then put them back in again and see what happens.
I am not sure, never come across this issue. I would advise backing up all of your files just incase it does chuck you in shit lake.
Is it possible to get a new disk drive?
