Third time through this build, and I'm getting similar symptoms of my last two fried builds. Whenever the PC is under any sort of heavier performance, I'll hear a high pitch noise emitting from my speakers. The same thing happened to my last build, and shortly after that, the build crashed and fried. I usually hear this sound, and immediately power off the PSU before any sort of hardware damage is done. The previous time I had it running, the system was just starting up, and then the screen went black and my GPU's fan went into overdrive, as the red "MemOK" LED light continuously blinked.
At this point, I'm stumped, as I blamed my past two system failures on my shitty Logisys PSU. Now, I'm not sure what could be causing the problem. Please help.
Unplug everything and re seat the GPU and CPU. After you do that post back and see if the sound stops.
