Today I wanted to turn on my pc, and basically, it just didn't turn on, at all. No fans, no beeps, nothing at all. Yeseterday everything was fine and dandy.
I opened the the case and all of the cables are connected.
Also, when the switch at the back of the pc is on, and the power adapter is on as well, a green light from the mobo turns on, if that means anything
Check your power connectors are plugged correctly to the mobo.
Maybe there's something wrong with your bioss.

It doesn't even reach the BIOS

Well then, I'm stumped.
Might be worth checking voltages on your psu if you can with a volt checker.

Just be careful not to kill yourself though!.
Everything is connected
I've had this problem. Check your outlet and any extension cords/power strips you use, the cable may be loose.
Your PSU could be dieing or dead....Did you try another?
Check the fuse on your panel. Who knows maybe your fuse is tripped.
If your cant find out what's wrong then just get a new power supply its not too much.
Also:
Try to remove stuff that requires lots of power in the computer, like your vid card, hard drive whatever. Then see if it works.

this is a really shit idea
if it worked before, it'll still work, it's not going to slowly lower in power over time
all this would do is get you a nice ear raping squeal from your graphics card telling you it hasn't got enough power
Shit, a tech guy came with a new psu, still doesn't turn on
Try a new motherboard and power switch. if not, then theres something preventing it from comming on.
Also make sure your power cord isn't fucked.
Reset your CMOS by taking out the little battery. My mums pc gets the problem every once in a while and doing this normally fixes the issue.
Usually if your PC was working fine the day before but now doesn't turn on, it is going to either be the power supply or the motherboard. Now, if you had an electrical spike/outage then anything that was connected to a wall directly like a PCI modem or PCI/Onboard Ethernet inside the PC could be the culprit. Try removing any expansion cards like modems or ethernet cards and then see if you get any power. If that PC tech still has the power supply laying around test that with the cards out as well. If you still do not get power then your motherboard is probably dead.
Have you tried using a different outlet or plugging something like a lamp into the same outlet that your computer used? The broken power switch would also be an issue, so if you take a spare piece of wire or a conductive screwdriver on the two pins that you connect the power button to, it could turn on.
The tech guy took the pc about a week ago. The fucker hasn't responded the countless messages that say "wtf is wrong with my pc". I'm too lazy to call :P
