Ok, so I am in a position in where I can either get a new computer or a new phone. I mainly want a computer to play Left 4 Dead 2 and Team Fortress 2, but I also want a new phone, a smartphone. I can get an HTC Evo and a virgin mobile $55 a month plan for unlimited everything. What would you guys do?
what do you need the most
I'd pick new computer, provided you build your own. If you don't, you may as well go with the phone.
Hell, if you have internet you can use your computer as a phone.
Not as much vice versa.
If you already have a decent/usable phone, get the computer.
A phone is a phone, As long as you can call people there's no need for a new one.
You may be able to get both!

That place is cheap as FUCK on computer parts and shit.

Oh God, those power supplies (notice the lack of good PSUs?)...
Cheap =/= better

Hey, it can.
Seems stupid, but I used to have a few of the higher watt a-power PSUs and those things were great.

It's practically a ticking IED. No. Thanks.
Depends on your budget and what computer/phone your aiming at.

Aside from PSUs you damn crybaby, they do have a large selection of good quality components as well.
I would consider what you need the thing for.
If you don't play games much and have a acceptable computer, I would get the phone.
Since phones aren't that expensive (except if you want some new Iphone for XXX€), then you should see what you can get if you try to buy both.
Computer.
Computer. I would have choosed a computer for anything! Exept a car

I scoff at that. Pentium CPUs, most GPUs being older than 2 generations ago (and even then from manufacturers that are subpar), crap mobos, all of which are probably going to lead to you spending a whole lot more than you need to if something fucks your entire system up. The only decent quality brand for parts is Cooler Master, and even then, a majority of the cases they have are refurbs.
You're just trying to get out of the hole the website's dug you into with all that cheap-ass shit. You wouldn't buy a car from some shady-as-hell manufacturer for ultra-cheap, would you? If you did, you'd be putting your life on the line with some low-quality car.
Same thing goes for most of the stuff on that site. You're risking your house burning down because of it. Some day, it'll catastrophically fail before when PSUs usually start dying out and you'll regret buying cheap shit and come home to your house on fire, which could've been easily preventable had you not relied on low-quality products.
To reiterate: No. Thanks. Take your crap elsewhere.
computor because loading web pages on mobile is shit

okay look
The PSU, I like to say, is the most brutish component of your computer. It does not store information. It does not compute. Its job is to manage great big amounts of electicity. When PSUs go bad, they have the potential to fuck shit up. You can blow up half your computer for a bad PSU.
I had an Antec Basiq PSU die. It's all that died. Nothing more. If I'd bought cheaper, maybe it'd have been worse.
