This question was just floating around my mind and I was wondering if it was illegal for a minor to smoke. I mean not cigarettes or anything I mean just smoking period. Like if a 14 year old pulled out some paper rolled it up and started smoking it outside of a police station, would he be arrested or get a ticket/citation?
Well, don't. Tobacco sells because it eases nerves. The smoke is the down side. That and the tar, but the smoke is pretty bad too. So, just don't worry about it and don't smoke a notecard.
Well no I was trying to make a movie and I didn't want to get arrested for smoking paper. I use paper since it makes the most smoke.
You have to be 18 to buy a lighter or tobacco. You can grow tobacco, and smoke it on your own though considering it isn't taxed/branded.
In my country (Canada) it is a small misdemeanor for anyone under 16 to smoke in public, but I'm not sure about U.S. Laws.
I'm not talking about fucking tobacco I mean just smoking period.
It depends, in some places its illegal to set things on fire in a public place without a permit.
Well let's just say Texas because that's where I live.
Im sure if it is just plain paper it will be fine. I dont know a single cop that would get mad about that.
Oh alright thanks for the input.
Yes, they would. Why smoke? You can get all sorts of diseases anyway.

You obviously don't live in B.C.
You wouldn't get arrested for smoking paper, but you should try to find those fake chalk cigarettes, they look real, and they're not bad for your health.
Not like you can enforce it, really

way to read the thread
we bought some candy cigarettes at a candy store once, made of gum with powdered sugar on them so you could blow the sugar out like smoke, we fooled an in-n-out employee doing so :D
Why would you smoke paper? :frogdowns:
Why is Willie Nelson asking if it's illegal to smoke anyway?
He's trying to straighten out.
Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it.
