I'm applying for a highschool, but they already accepted the 9th grade class, so they put me on a waiting list. How exactly do they work? when are the people on the list notified if they are accepted/declined? The school uses a lottery to accept students, so it dosent really hinge on test scores.
Around here if you're on the waiting list it means that you were accepted but you are like a "back-up". Like if one of the people who they have accepted goes to another school they will pick from the waiting list.
Q) How do waiting lists for high schools work?
