Same old story, they just make tons on the software side instead till the hardware becomes cheap to manufacture.
Their objective is to get as many people to buy the Wii U. If they manage to get 10 million people to own a Wii U, then the profit from games will come in. Of course provided that they give us a superior online gaming than those from XBOX Live and PSN

The online service will be free so I couldn't give a shit if the online service was worse, but if you mean the gameplay i think most wii and wii u games are made with multiplayer in mind
All they need is a large number of 3rd party support. Wii U could use a lot of FPS genre game and JRPG. The XBOX 360 is popular with FPS games and PS3 is popular with RPG. Wii U needs to cover BOTH.
