Didn't know where to put it so I put it here. Anyways. For chirstmas me, my brother and my sister got an Xbox 360 elite, with a month of free Xbox Live. She just bought herself Kinect, but in order to get 2 of the 3 games she needs to activate them on Xbox live. My question is, does this mean we will need to activate our free trial of Xbox live, or are there any other options?
Xbox live is free
Xbox live silver is free, but you can't play online, you need gold for that. Golds also get early access to demos and betas.
No such thing as a small Xbox [sp]heyoooo[/sp]
iirc you don't require an internet connection to play kinect games
Well, she wanted to activate some codes - So you can just register a silver account? How do you do that?
There are some options on the dashboard that guide you through the setup process, make sure your xbox is connected to the internet. I would tell you exactly where but they've changed the dashboard like 4 times since I last used it. Yeah silver is free and lets you on the market and internet and stuff.

You can do that like 4 times, when you make your fifth profile you get silver on that profile automatically.

Also, the xbox live silver (free version) is enough for activation, gold gives you a few sales, more demos and the ability to play multiplayer.
speak for yourself. i've had my xbox for 7 years and it's never crapped on me once.
Xbox or Xbox named after the degrees of a fuckin' square?
I'm pretty sure 360 degrees is the degrees of a circle.
