• Really hot GPU

I got a prebuild computer from dell for 200 bucks. Specs : Intel i7 extreme ATI Radeon 4870X2 6gb of ram The cpu is cooled by H2C Ceramic cooling. But now I noticed that my gpu idles at around 75 and as soon as I start a game it goes up to 90-95 and stays at around 85-90 when I exit the game. Is this normal ? GPU-Z screenies : (it actually shows it has 2 gpu's build in, top 1 is the first and the second on is the one on the bottom) [img]http://i.cubeupload.com/a7Hud5.png[/img]
$200 or $2000 and the 4xxx series runs REALLY hot, especially the 4870x2 and the case probably sucks with airflow
200 euro. Also when I start a game the second one instantly goes to 100 work load and the first one (the one with the 26 degrees) has no work load at all [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] Also do I need to worry about the 90-94 degrees ? [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] -snip- crossfire enabled after reboot [editline]23rd February 2011[/editline] turned the fan speed up a bit (with no extra noise :) and it reduced it to a idle 68 and when playing 78

I want one.
While that is hot it is nothing to worry about and is to be expected from the HD48XX series. I had a HD4850 that idled at 72C and hit 98C on load (until I got an after market cooler). As long as it doesn't really break 95C it will be alright.
