Cute idea for a DLC I'll admit, but way too soon :v:
I love dlc created before the game is released.
A shameful display. Announce that it's planned, ok, maybe even do the pre-production planning what it's going to be, but don't start truly developing it until after you've finished the main goddamn game.
Jesus a trailer for a DLC already out.
Oh look, dlc trailers out before the full game. Yes, I'm totally convinced I'm getting the full game and that you aren't slicing up content to sell back to me.
This shit needs to fucking stop.
Predictable idea, I can't watch the trailer just yet but I like the concept.
What gets me about this is like everyone says: "DLC before the actual game is released?" And I agree completely. Even if they have the DLC ready and whatnot, why not wait for the game to be released so any issues that spring up can be addressed? Otherwise, you're just adding salt to the wound.
On the note of the DLCs story, I hope they avoid the obvious identity of The Ripper (if revealed at all) being a Templar agent or rogue Assassin. If he turned out to be a Sage or previously introduced character that'd be cool.
I'm not surprised, since they did the same thing with Unity. Can't they just leave Jack the Ripper alone? It's so played out at this point.

Not to mention that if they make Jack a Templar, they'll basically be ripping off Alan Moore's From Hell.
The game comes out October 23, the game would essentially be right about to go gold. Pretty much any dev would already be working on dlc by now, only difference is they're announcing it earlier.
