Tips to help me when recording my games, desktop, etc.

Hi, I'm using fraps and I find it hard to record when I only have a 40GB hdd and its 98% full so are there alternatives to using my main hdd? I can't get another hdd so I was thinking about using cd's and recording to there.
any other tips you've come across when you record is well appreciated also.

Use Wegame to record.. as far as i know the file sizes are really small.. i have a 320gb hard drive on my laptop which is my main gaming machine and it runs really well and the file sizes are small. if u use it make sure to enable (just enable, nothing else) stereo mix. right click on the volume icon click recording right click and press show disabled devices and enable stereo mix.. as for your desktop, use camstudio.

Run disk cleaner. It helps.
