I got a huge monitor with a large resolution, and my 5670 can't really keep up with it. I don't really have the cash for a new PSU, but that may change depending on what you guys say.
What GPU should I get? I was looking at the 550 ti, but people have told me it's not worth buying.
What's your budget? And what's the precise PSU model? Aside from that, it doesn't look like your computer would be worth upgrading much.
I'll have to check open my case and check later, but I'm pretty sure it's a Xigmatek PSU.
My budget is around 150 USD.

As in, my computer is fine, or as in, my computer is so shitty that I might as well buy a new one?

As, it won't be worth it, and you should save up ~700-800$ for a new one. 600$ will do as well.

Alright I guess. I'll probably pick up a 550 ti to hold me over until then, though.
No that's exactly what we're saying not to do. It's not going to help. Save up some money so you can move off of LGA 775.
ok

It wouldn't be much of a performance difference. The GTX 550 to is a pretty terrible card for what it is.
