As far as I remember, it was a CGI test which they used for prerrndered cutscenes, correct me if im wrong. The dates in there were bogus

When Chaos Theory came out for the original Xbox, it had a teaser for a movie on the disk. That was in 2005.

I'm just afraid it will turn into super serious, generic spy movie. Tom Hardy is a great actor but not exactly someone I'd pick for Sam. I admit it's too soon to judge but there were so many bad video game movies and the games themselves still need sort out their tone.
I have a bad feeling that this film will be one of those ruined by committee thinking.
