• Dynex Webcam Issues

Alright, so I've had [url=http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dynex%26%23174%3B+-+1.3MP+Webcam/8703094.p?skuId=8703094&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=8703094&ref=06&loc=01&id=1199495403693]this[/url] webcam for about two weeks..but have just started using it now. It works flawlessly on Skype, but ANYWHERE else it just displays a black screen. Yes, i've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers until my fingers have bled, but it doesn't change anything. Hell, i've even played with 3rd party webcam software like Webcompanion 2 or Splitcam, but with no avail. Tonight, I ran out of options and finally decided to call Dynex technical support. This Indian man, upon me asking him "So you're telling me that there's absolutely nothing you can do about this problem?" replied with a blunt "No." I'm at a loss of what to do, so as a last resort, I'm asking Facepunch. According to Google i'm not the only one who has this problem with this type of webcam, which means that there must be SOMEONE out there who can resolve this issue. If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.
