When I start Gmod, the menu appears to work fine. Until, that is, I click on any option, opening a window. The window goes behind the menu text (e.g. "singleplayer"), and it makes drop-down menus go behind the menus as well. It's incredibly irritating and makes things really hard to do. Any suggestions?

All I can suggest is to reinstall GMod.
Well, that's really not the answer I'm looking for.. I changed the Launch Options to fit Evocity 2, and since then it's been happening. Even after I took it off.
I had the same problem, the answer is to re-install.
