• How to set up a 5.1 speaker system?
    4 replies, posted
I got this old Home Theater that I managed to connect to my computer, I got 3 speakers in front of me, 1 in the left, 1 in the right, 1 in the center, now for the remaining two, I don't know how to properly get them behind me, behind me is my bed and I don't have any ideas on how to hook them up to the wall. Help would be appreciated. Also, this is the system:
Between 100 and 110 degress behind and above your listening position, preferably equally far away as the rest of the speakers. How to get them there I can't advise you on though. If the surround test sounds distinctly like it's coming from behind you then you are doing it right.

Mount them on the walls if you can.
Speakers can usually be mounted on the wall with a single screw in the wall. The speaker then "hooks" onto the screw.
