Hey guys, anyone here know a good screenshot capturing software? One I liked was Auto Screenshot Maker but it had a limited license time and I didn't intend to buy it. So, anyone know a good screenshot capture software that's free and is easy/comfortable to use? Like binds to capture selection and so on. Thanks!
I just use the Snipping Tool, comes with Windows Vista and 7.
Many like puush, some liked zScreen a while ago.
Try Skitch by Plasq. It's free and i'm pretty sure it's for Windows. Google it
Gyazo
Puush all the way.
Alright, downloaded puush. Nice, nifty little program. Thanks a lot guys!
zUploader's also pretty decent

ShareX is great too.

I DID
Didn't you guys notice? He already chose puush.
Plus, Fraps is a pitiful excuse for a screenshotter.

Indeed. Reason why I needed a screenshot taking software like Puush is because I can screenshot a selection using my mouse. Saves me the time to edit the picture to remove borders and personal shit.

Fraps is alright. I use the free version in games that don't have built in screenshot tools or games that don't support steam overlay, then I just do a batch convert in IrfanView to .jpg or .png.

ShareX is probably the best tool to be honest. It has a lot of configuration options if you really need them, supports a ton of destinations for text, images, files (and accepts custom destinations, FTP servers and DropBox), the screenshot function can do full screen, active window, rectangle, custom freehand shapes, quite a few things really. It's a very powerful tool that only has one downside really, you need to configure it to get the most out of it.
