Just got my i7 4790k today-- it's really an amazing piece of work. Used to get 23 FPS on the Sanctuary in Fallout 4-- now I never dip below 60. Used to have an Athlon X4 860k (FM2 socket sucks). I overclocked all cores to 4.7GHz with one core to 4.8GHz. (Turbo usually only affects 1 core, but I made it spread across all cores. 1 core could hit 4.4, 2 cores could hit 4.3, and 4 cores could hit 4.2 Now all can hit 4.7 and one can hit 4.8, anything over that, even with high voltage and a good cooler gets me crashes/instability.). My 980 is overclocked to 1487 MHz. For some reason, my memory is really whack and can't overclock much. It's a reference PCB, with reference GDDR5, so that might be why.

More or less in the process of getting rid of AMD right now, since Nvidia seems like a wiser choice.

My CPU is an i5 6600k, and my RAM is 2x8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4. Just upgraded my pc a few months ago. Oh, and my graphics card is the superclocked edition and I'm mad because I haven't been able to find a second card for cheap.

going to replace that integrated graphics with GTX 970 soon.
I've had this setup for like 3 years, only thing I added since was the SSD. It still works great for me, does everything I want it to.

Your 980ti shows up with 2047MB of VRAM. So did that other dudes. Why is that? Doesn't it have 6GB?

A guy in the other thread had his 390 showing up as only 4gb. Wonder if a recent speccy update did something weird with newer cards detection.
