Perhaps I do have to buy this, anyway. Though I do wish they went back to firstperson :saddowns:
Great, now I can watch 99% of the building clip into the ground and vanish in BAD BORDERLANDS SHADERS
looks goddamn awesome
Looks fucking terrible.
They could keep this filter on it and sell it as an indie title.
Probably just can't get the engine to run in colour.

volition sure does like that song
geomod 1 in guerrilla was pretty fookin amazing and fun as hell to mess around with.
this game sucks i played the demo and that was about the least fun I'd had doing anything.
I personally can't wait to play it. It definitely seems like it'll be either hit or miss. You'll either love it or hate it, no middle ground. I liked the gameplay style and the overall feel of the demo. Also, I really wanna know what Volition's obsession with Take On Me is about.
Looks nothing like Take On Me.
Wow, that looks incredibly bad. Stupid black outlines and GREY GREY GREY GREY. They didn't even bother trying to make it change the way they looked as if the frames were drawn. It's just greying everything out into grey shit.
Kinda reminds me of Madworld like this.
If this game is even just as good as Guerrilla, I'm ok with that. I'm just worried it won't be since there are aliens and underground environments.
Interested but not at full price will have to be a steam deal or cheap retail for this

And you do get to go on the surface sometimes. Plus the weapons are much more fun to use than Guerrilla's.
That filter looks horrible, there's almost no contrast, so it's a sea of gray. Not to even mention how it doesn't even fit into the music video (due to being horribly done).
I havent really looked into this much, but hopefully it will be good.
I almost feel like the shader thing won't be real, and that they just used it for the trailer to show off some new things, but not give away too much detail (colors, finer details, etc). Who knows, I'm probably wrong.

I wish all games had silly things like this.
its probably going to be a very fun game but also ugh space cleavage

I want to see how it actually performs on my computer, not fucking stream it via a crappy system.

I actually think OnLive is great for trying games out. No downloading in advance and every game can have a demo because it just needs to let you play the full game for 30 minutes. Sucks about the image quality, input lag, and not seeing how well it runs on your machine thing though.
I really enjoyed the 360 demo, lots of new gadgets to blow crap up with. There's still plenty of stuff to destroy underground for those who are worried. Only this time it affects the gameplay even more so than it did before. Still wondering what system I should get it for. Judging by the OnLive demo it's pretty bad (Not talking about lag). Is that demo really how retail is going to be like on PC, no resolution options, graphic settings, or keyboard options? Forgive me if this is a dumb question, I literally just tried OnLive for this demo and have no idea if the demos are accurate representations of the retail product.

The game bought from retail or Steam would have the settings, and the image quality would be sharper as it isn't a video with compression being streamed to you over the net, but all rendered lovingly by your own computer.
Thanks for clearing that up. I will probably get it for PC now.
