• Upgrading the motherboard (partially)

Tomorrow I'm planning to get a new CPU. I had it all planned out, I'd get a quad-core CPU, since I've been bottlenecking all my games with my single-core (Intel Celeron-something, 2,8Ghz with only one core) for years now. Then it struck me. According to various sources on the internet, my motherboard (Asrock 775Dual-VSTA) isn't able to run the Intel Core2Quad Q9550, the one I was planning to get. So I decided to look up a little more, and perhaps get a new motherboard as well while upgrading my craptop along. After some research I decided to go for an Asus M4A785TD-V EVO. It's quite a cheap change with completely different slots for most of the hardware I have now, so I'll buy some new memory along with a different CPU (AMD Athlon II X4 630). Then it struck me. Again. My trusty Radeon HD3850 is an AGP-card as well. It has done so much effort to make my games run at least laggy, instead of not running at all. Still, the motherboard has no AGP slot. For compensation, the motherboard has an onboard HD4200. My first thought was: "a higher number, so it's better?" Still, we all know the qualities of onboard crap. It will be a step back from my current card, that I am sure of. Will it compensate with the speed I'll get with the upcoming quad-core CPU, though? Or will I be much better off saving up more to get one of the better cards of now as a replacement for the 4200? My budget is approximately €250, while the above will cost me +/- 220 so far.
Hmm... so you need an 30 x (*is stupid american that cant read currency signs, assuming it's the euro*) graphics card for PCI-E 16x? That's gonna be a tough buy... I don't see any particularly good options from my limited experience.
Get a 620 if you're not doing serious overclocking. Save yourself a few bucks.
save up.
And a 4200 is decent. I could nearly max TF2 on integrated 3100 at 1280x960.
