Can't figure out what i'm sick with - General

This morning when I woke up I had a slight headache and thought it would go away eventually, but nooooo. Instead it got worse. Now I am quite sick and I can't figure out what i've caught. Symptoms: - Runny nose - slight headache - sore throat - dizziness - coughing (prolly due to mucous inhalation) The dizziness is what scares me a little, earlier during the day it was really bad and occasionally it'd get really intense, which basically made me start stumbling around like a drunkard. The static you see when you close your eyes would seep into my field of view clouding my vision and i'd often lose my grip of whatever I was holding onto at the time or i'd fall over onto the floor or both.

Well, the Symptom checker narrowed it down to 20 conditions, but it's not as concrete as i'd like it to be. I'd call a doctor and tell him/her my symptoms now but it's 3 am.

Are you a smoker? This happened to me once when I used to smoke a lot, my doctor said I had inflamed glands (forget the name of them) from smoking too mcuh. Do you feel two hard big bumps next to your adam's apple? edit: adnoid glands

Might be a simple migraine. Seems like the symptoms to me.

It could be either a cold or allergies. The dizziness means that there's something going on with your ears, which I've gotten in rare cases when I've let my allergies go completely out of control. Have you tried taking your temperature? I doubt it's the flu since it's really bad really quickly and generally also has body aches and shivering from the accompanying high fever, but a cold with a fever would also explain the dizziness.
