Bought the desk from a retired Brig General who pulled it out of his office at CENTCOM when they were putting in new desks in the late 80s.
He was throwing it out and I managed to catch him before he put it in the truck to haul it off. I gave him $50, I was looking for a desk anyways and couldn't take it for free.
