My Dad asked me to spread the word to help one of his friends. He's been diagnosed with two types of cancer. I can't imagine having the thought of losing his two sons aged 8 and 5 respectively. If anyone has some money they can throw their way, i'm sure they will be eternally grateful. I'm sorry if there's a better place for this kind of post or if it's not allowed but I don't know a better place to post something like this. Facepunch is full of some pretty amazing people and I'm sure that many of you are generous enough to help this family in their time of need. Taken right from the donation website are the details of his condition [QUOTE]Ronald was diagnosed earlier this year with two cancers: Peritoneal Mesothelioma, which is a rare type of cancer that occurs in the thin cell walls surrounding the abdominal cavity, and Lung Adenocarcinoma which is a form of non-small cell lung cancer. This situation in which two types of cancers develop at the same time is extremely rare and can be difficult to treat, but now we know that is not impossible! We will lose Ronald by the end of this year if he does not get the right treatment as soon as possible. His only opportunity for recovery is to first tackle the Peritoneal Mesothelioma with a combined procedure, called CRS (Cyto-Reductive Surgery) plus HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy), and then to combat the Adenocarcinoma via chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Before anyone asks, the treatment he supposedly requires is outside of Canada, hence the need for funding instead of using universal health care. Isn't it great living in a world where everyone values their 401K and corporate profits more than collective wellbeing?
Donated $10. That is something no one should have to go through, and I wish him all the best.
Wish I could donate to this. Best of luck to him.
not to be that guy but you really shouldn't trust internet donation stories look at how many times FP has been scammed it's so easy to lie on the internet
How did this campaign even manage to raise thousands already? He must have some wealthy friends.

Someone on the first page made an offline donation of $5000

Recently just saw a campaign to help some kids not be homeless and go to college end up funding some boyfriends rap career.
well if you want proof the man and his kids exist, I added a video of him getting his hair shaved off in the op
Donated $15. I lost my dad to advanced Prostate & Bone Cancer this month, so it hits pretty close to home for me. Dealing with and Losing a loved one to something as destructive & slow as Cancer is something nobody should ever have to experience. I wish him all the best.
While I can't donate, I will do this. Megaman is legit, I have been his friend for 1-2 years now, real honest and cool so I highly doubt he is lying and trying to scam you guys.
