• "Class not registered" When opening any folder.

So this all started around 3 I guess. Microsoft Security Essentials popped up showing about a dozen .dll files that were not registered on there database, meaning that it didn't know if they were good or bad. So I decided to send the file information over to Microsoft to find out sometime in the future. Later, I was browsing through one of my SD cards and Windows Explorer decided to crash. That's were my problems first began. Every folder I would try to open would crash Windows Explorer. Finally, I decided to restart my machine, and when it started back up, I started getting this "Class not registered message", for any folder I try to open. The thing that's really screwing me over is that I can't reach the control panel. I would reinstall windows, but since I can't access any folders, I can't backup my shit. So I guess what I'm trying to ask is: "Am I fucked?" Any information regarding what's going on can greatly help me, thanks.
You have a corrupt shell extension. Try using this: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html To remove any you don't recognise/want.
Never mind, I just went ahead and reinstalled Windows. I've got a lot of work ahead of me now, but at least I can open folders.
