Happy to see they're trying something different, might try this game when it comes out.
Their old genesis game Pulseman is pretty fun. Wouldn't mind seeing them return to that as well.
really not a fan of the title.
Game Freak doing something that ISN'T pokemon? I might have to keep an eye on this one.
Pokemon spinoffs on PC please. No hope for main titles in any case.

Doesn't Damon Albarn have a song about an elephant called Tembo? Does Tembo mean Elephant in some language?

Huh. Why hasn't Nintendo bought Game Freak yet?
Huh. Why hasn't Nintendo bought Game Freak yet?
They're privately owned so maybe they just don't want to be bought
Huh. Why hasn't Nintendo bought Game Freak yet?
Because they have a majority ownership of Pokemon, already, as well for a handful of the titles that they published for Game Freak. It's not so much that Game Freak isn't purchasable as much as it is Nintendo already getting what they need from them (although presumably Game Freak knows that they are worth more than a company would offer to them). They share a similar approach for IP exclusivity with HAL Laboratories, Creatures Inc, Tose and several others. (As opposed to Intelligent Systems, Nd Cube, 1-Up Studio/Brownie Brown, Retro Studios and Monolith Soft, which they actually do own)
