• Is this a respectable upgrade?

I have an old as fuck HP Pavilion and unfortunately I don't have enough $$ to build an entire PC. I've decided to go the route of upgrading and I just want to make sure I'm making good choices. I don't game that often, but when I do it's usually some Source game or Minecraft. (You're welcome to look at my Steam profile if you care enough) Current specs: Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 CPU 2.0GB DDR2 RAM Intel 82945G GPU (:v:) 250W PSU Upgrading to: 350W PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182006 GT430 GPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133432 2x 1GB DDR2 RAM (4GB total with what's currently seated) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231106 Total cost is around $118. If you have any suggestions, I'd like to keep it as close to that as possible. Thanks in advance!
A 350w psu? Really? I know you already said you don't have enough money, but no reason in spending money in keep upgrading something old.
I wouldn't really invest anything in that. Get a job and buy a new pc.

I wouldn't recommend buying stuff right now OP - get some $500 and then you can probably get a decent build.

You've got a lot of old parts - by upgrading them, you're just wasting money. I would look into one of the motherboard/RAM/CPU bundles you can get. For under £150 you can upgrade your system to a modern day rig, and really boost your performance..

Most of the time you won't be able to replace the internals without breaking out the power tools and doing some heavy case modification.
