I have no clue about this whole TV stuff but... Is it possible to split 1 TV screen, that one half is for eg. AV1 and the other AV2?

You should look into PIP (picture in picture) most TVs support it and it allows you to have two sources on the same screen. What your asking to do is not impossible just not the right way to go about it ;)
