As much as I'd like to use Prime, I don't shop often enough to warrant the price. I'm not sure how or if this will affect me anyway since I only seem to buy electronics from there anyway.
Just buy peripherals under £10 on sites like scan, it's way cheaper.
Well, that sucks. I rarely buy things that aren't books/CDs/DVDs etc on Amazon anyway.
The new threshold will not apply to books, DVDs, music, video games and software products.
Everything I bought under £10 didn't fall into these, I ain't gonna fucking pay £3 to get some £4 compressed air dusters delivered to me.
Prime isn't worth it and free delivery over £25? Most people only spend £8-15 on average on Amazon, this is a stupid decision.
If you purchase a lot, Prime is a god send, at least in the States (Not sure how prime works in the UK). Is Prime not as good in the UK?
Free two day shipping on pretty much all items, guaranteed release day delivery on most video games/movies, the reduced price for one-shipping ($3.99 per item), and the ability to share your benefits with up to 5 family members; I hate to sound like a spokesperson, but I recommend it nearly everyone.
Not to mention, no online sales tax in Illinois yet.
If I buy anything on Amazon that is a DVD, CD etc. I seem to always get it off the marketplace which has a ton of different delivery options based on the seller. No biggy.
My family uses prime, it's handy as heck but I wouldn't recommend it unless you are part of a family who use Amazon a lot otherwise it's a waste
it still costs 60 dollars to ship to EU
is it bad that i make a new amazon account every time i order something, just so i can make use of the Prime trial?

One of the main things that Prime is useful for is how it's basically netflix + free shipping + a handful of other things.
I use it since its 15 dollars cheaper a year than netflix, has about the same selection and growing, and free two day shipping is handy as fuck.

In the UK Prime gets you free one-day shipping, and in some areas you can get it delivered the same day you order it (for like £7)
