I'm talking about if the legend of zelda: majoras mask should be remade on the 3DS like ocarina of time?
It would be a nice treat. Seeing the 3D graphics and all. Everything popping to life, making things and the moments in the game seem to have more depth. But who am I kidding? All Zelda games are great in their own way!
So what do you people think? Should MM be remade or should it stay?
If they remake it, I want them to go all out on it, and not make a half assed handheld game.

I wouldn't mind an HD remake.
As long as they don't stick it on a fucking handheld.
I can't imagine how the Moon's face would look in HD but at the same time I really want to see it and cry in fear.
I won't say no to an upgraded remake; not a complete overhaul, but an upgrade in graphics is usually a good step, and maybe implement content that didn't make it in the first time round due to time constraints.
The lattermost I hope is the case for WindWaker HD, since there are things missing from WindWaker that apparently were meant to be in the game, like Ice Ring Isle and Fire Mountain having been meant to be the locations of main dungeons.

I'd love it if they gave it the same treatment as OOT but without the censoring
they should make a classic mode and a revamped mode, so those who've never played before can experience the old level design and those of us who beat the game can experience the game all over again. not some half-assed inverted "master quest" bullshit.

Unfortunately the whole BEN DROWNED crowd is gonna flock to it for all the wrong reasons.
I want to say remake because it's one of my most favourite games but at the same time, I'd be worried that I'm only riding on the nostalgia train so I'm not sure I'd want to play it and face the disappointment.

OOT3D was pretty good though and the original OOT didn't vanish from existence as soon as the remake came out. it' just making the game available to more people, that can't hurt right? obviously N64 games aren't in production anymore

I swear, people who spout this kind of nonsense only know Majoras Mask from the front page of Youtube. If you actually read the creepypasta it is complete shit, like all videogame pastas. It saddens me to see a genuinely moving and unsettling masterpiece in the series fallowed by that kind of scum that should have seeped through the killing floor long ago.
It depends on who makes it, i suppose.
I personally think that a remake would sound like a better idea if Nintendo discontinued their consoles, because then it could perhaps be developed by sufficiently talented and dedicated fans of the game. Also, because Nintendo doesn't look like the kind of company who hands out cease and desist orders like candy, so who knows? Perhaps a software-only Nintendo might publish fan projects that interest them.

There are so few games that I feel need remakes. I'd rather play the older version of the game, it has more charm.

I'd like it redone like OOT because I never had a 64, and I don't like emulators. I'm all for handheld since it's easy to carry around
I need to get orcarina of time on the 3DS, Though I never played Zelda before, I should start.
The did a great job with Ocarina of Time on 3DS so I just hope they remake Majora's Mask for 3DS at least.
Well, they did a great job re-making resident evil and MGS for gamecube. So why not majoras mask?
