Okay so I just bought a Barracuda Green 2 Terabyte drive and when I was about to install it I realised I only have 2 drive bays one is a 160GB SSD 320 Intel series and one is a Hitachi Hitachi 1 Terabyte I have no idea what to do I am thinking of replacing the SSD with the Barrucuda but my W7 is on it. So Should I transfer all my data from the SSD to my 1T HDD and replace the SSD with the 2 terabyte HDD? Or should I take it back to the store. Also how do I put the OS in the 1 terabyte? thanks! ( I was confused if I should put this in tech support or this one if it is in the wrong forum I ma very sorry)
I don't understand, you want to replace your SSD with a HDD? What are your intentions exactly?
Do you have room to put it in the floppy drive / card reader bays?
If I put an HDD bay in my PC it would stop airflow and make my graphics cards really hot. @ Greendolphin I need two HDDS so I can record with fraps but my SSD has W7 on it .

I'll take it that you are using the Hitachi drive for storing all your other data. All you'll need to do is install the Barracuda drive in the computer and just use it for Fraps. Out of curiosity what case are you using?

Here are my specs : Motherboard: ASrock Extreme4 Gen3 RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz Graphics card: EVGA super overclocked 1GB 560Ti's in SLI mode OS: Windows 7 Home Premium Processor: i7 2700K @ 3.5GHz HDD: 1T Hitachi Hitachi SSD: 160GB intel 320 series PSU: Corsair 850W 80+ gold
You could go mount it in one of your 5.25" bays. You could either jury rig it or buy a 3.5" to 5.25" adapter
Thanks everbody for the help! I just put the drive on the bottom of my case and it's not making noise and it's quite cool.
Put HDD in the drive bay, use scotch tape to attach SSD to side panel or something.
