Well I've gone and made a new PC. Asus P5N-D WINTEC 2x2 Ram INTEL 3.0 duo core EVGA GTS 250 1 gig But problem is I don't know if my IDE drive will be able to just plug and play. I heard you just put into the C: cable and it'll work fine. But i'm slightly worried... Help?
Just try and connect it to the IDE port.
I think I did what you mean, just clipped in and formatted it. Works fine.

Whenever you do a major upgrade like that, it's always best to reformat Windows. I have been lazy, and had serious instabilities before.
