Im looking to build myself a PC.
I can spend aprox. £900
I'm using a 1920x1200 Screen, and I'll reuse my keyboard and mouse from my last pc.
I want to be able to play modern games (BF:BC2, Mass Effect 2, etc)
Preferbly use http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/ but otherwise thats fine.
Hoping to be buying this Saturday or Sunday
Thanks :buddy:
Edit: Oh and Windows 7
Gawd it's always nice to have that amount of money to spend on a computer :)
I dont have time atm to make you one though :>
Go i7 For Sure.
Im on it.
Nah get an i5, just cus you have a nice amount of money doesnt mean you have to get best of everything. Just get an i5 with 2x5850

£858
Wow, that was fast. Whats that + Windows 7? And thats the same case I was looking at earlier :D
nope sorry, i was mocking that up before you edited it to windows 7
Hmmm suprising i thought in a 900 quid build you could get 2 5850s but thats a really nice build and i would go with it
Heres my attempt, as always case is down to preference, swap it out if you want:

There's only one was to settle this, FOOD FIGHT!!! but yeh, whatever, i had a bash
What site is that Milky?
What site is that Milky?
Its SCAN, I know you wanted Novatech, but I prefer browsing their site and they normally stock EVERYTHING, just copy the names into Novatech's search.
scan
[editline]10:32PM[/editline]
ninjad >.>
Yep, Im doing that now - hope they arn't missing anything
you probably could re-use and optical drive
I might use Scan, Novatech is £30+ on the Graphics Card
@turke; Unfortunatly not, my current one makes alarming noises and is very old
novatech are pretty low on graphics cards at the moment, dont know why, and that gpu was bundled with a game, making it cost more than it should
I'll see If I can mix and match the two sites then (not the best idea but oh well). Thanks for the help, leaving till tommorrow afternoon now.
The only thing is, on novatech check if there are any nice i5 + Mobo bundles?
to be honest, the mobo's they tend to use for their bundles aren't the best in the world, for the money, you could probably get better, but not always the case
I'll see, but - for tommorrow.
Edit: Or that.
Bah, Im not used to fast conversations
You can also check Ebuyer, YOYOtech or DABS.
never really tried YOYOTECH, fell of dabs and i only really use ebuyer and scan cus they are cheaper i find, and novatech time to time
