I will be buying this for the PS3 http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B003P8X75Y/ref=s9_simh_gw_p63_d1_i1?pf_rd_m=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0H2Q5H856C3CZ9YECTMR&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=463383511&pf_rd_i=915398 so I am not asking for it to work on a Europe T.V/or a Japanese one
I just want to know will it work with the Japan/ U.K/ Rest of Europe outlet
why not? Just be careful with voltage...
Yes, if you get a converter or new *official* power supply.
you'll need a converter to plug it in
how much are these converter's.?
Sony isn't weird like M$ and their PAL/NTSC. Just make sure power is correct.

To my understanding it's this:

You can get them at a $2 store.
ohhhhhhh that thing nothing els.?
I'm not sure about pal and ntsc...
TV needs to support NSTC most TV's in the last 5 years will.
Blu-Rays are region encoded so be carefull

Those only convert the plug shape, not the voltage
You need one that converts 115V to 230V

Or vice versa even
You'll need a converter box which is about the size of two bricks stacked on top of each other and weigh about 5 pounds. Those plug converters will only cause you problems and possibly damage your PS3. I live in Korea and most of my stuff comes from the states so I have about 5 of these converter boxes. I'll take a pic once I find a camera.
Yep. Like everyone else said you'll just need a converter. Blu-ray's don't have region codes. So the games and movies can be played on any kinda of blu-ray drive (obviously the games can only be played in a PS3, but USA games will play on a UK PS3) USA blu-ray movies will play on a UK blu-ray player.
Not out of the box.

You don't need any converters, the PS3 PSU supports 100-230v 50/60Hz.
I would be more worried about region locking than anything. But nothing is stopping it from technically actually working in those countries.

PS3 games are region free as far as I know.
The PS3 console can support both 110v and 220v power input iirc
