I'm having trouble with my PC today. First, whenever I start up and get to the desktop, it keeps freezing. Ctrl-Alt-Dlt doesn't work and every time I restarted it, it freezes at desktop again. When I try starting at Safe Mode, this problem does not occur. Then comes the second problem, it later refused to boot up at all. Whenever I turned the PC on, it would be on for a few seconds before turning off and turning on by itself again. There's no video respond on the monitor either and it keeps restarting. I can't even get to the BIOS without it switching on and off by itself. I've updated my GPU driver to the newest version before this happened. Come to think of it, this only happens after I updated my driver. Could it be a problem with the driver itself? The computer itself is 10 months old, got it last year and it doesn't shows this problem. Try remove the GPUs and see if it boots.
Oh shit, I just searched on the website. The problem is actually with the Driver itself! Sadly, users of the former operating system are reporting that the new driver bundle is causing crashes, hangs and reboot failures - even extending to a bug that can prevent the Catalyst Control Centre software from loading at all.[/QUOTE] I guess I have to install the older driver then.
