• Graphics Card Compatibility?

Does a graphics card need to be specifically compatible with a motherboard? Or will it be fine that provided that the motherboard has PCI express slots (which I presume are standard on most motherboards)?

Depends on the power consumption, what type of slot it needs etc. What card is it and what motherboard do you have? Power supply would be helpful too.
